A Desire To Serve My Fellowmen

I, Ralph Rex Breta a.k.a. Dj Jimmy, is a long time DJ (DiscJockey) by profession. A profession who entertains the rich, the mighty and the lowly who seek relaxation after a week of hardwork thru music. A profession who makes a down-trodden fellow and forget the troubles one encounters in this materialistic and cruel world. I enjoy this kind of profession that fills my empty soul with touching and envigorating music.

However, I find this profession less humanistic, although at times a DJ also entertain downhearted people. yet this profession is less humane. In my search for a more humanistic profession, I heard of the CAREGIVER Course which to my mind means giving care to the aged, the poor, the sick and the needy. A very humanistic profession I thought.

In my desire to be able to take the course in the most shortest time possible, I inquired from different schools offering the course. In most schools I inquired from, I was late for the enrollment. Some started classes in April. Others in May. Some

will start in September. Lucky enough I came to hear about St. Augustine - School of Nursing, España Branch, Manila, offering the same course and is in time accepting enrollees for classes to start in July.

For the first few days or weeks I was a bit apprehensive, I could not get quality result of my studies. However, I did my best to learn the subjects offered under a very cooperative, understanding and hardworking instructors, who are willing to go out of their way to let their students learn and know more. I admit I learn and know more in life. I learn how I could give my best in serving humanity.
